EyeCare has successfully completed its participation at the Maldives Health Expo 2025, held from 13th, 15th and 16th November at Hulhumalé Central Park. Over the three days, our team engaged with hundreds of visitors, offering expert guidance, screening services, and on-the-spot appointment registrations for essential eye care.
Our aim this year was to help the community understand the importance of early detection and regular eye examinations. The response from the public was extremely positive, and we are grateful for the trust placed in our team.
Services Delivered During the Expo
Our specialists and clinical support team were on hand throughout the event, offering a range of eye care services to attendees, including:

Visitors also had the opportunity to ask questions, get personalised advice, and understand which tests or treatments they may need. Many attendees appreciated the chance to discuss their symptoms directly with our eye care professionals.
Games and Family Engagement
Apart from screenings and consultations, we also arranged a series of fun, interactive games at our stall. Both children and adults joined in with great enthusiasm. It was encouraging to see families spending time together, enjoying the activities, and learning about eye health in a more engaging way.
Winners were rewarded with gifts, which added an extra layer of excitement and made the experience memorable for many visitors. These activities helped us connect with the community in a warm and friendly environment, while also spreading awareness about eye care in an enjoyable format.
Community Awareness and Participation
The Health Expo allowed EyeCare to raise awareness about common eye conditions, including cataracts, diabetic eye disease, and refractive errors. Our team highlighted why regular check-ups are crucial for maintaining good vision, especially for individuals with diabetes or those experiencing vision changes.
We were pleased to see families, working professionals, and senior citizens actively engaging with the screenings and discussions. The feedback received throughout the event was encouraging, reinforcing our commitment to quality eye care in the Maldives.
