As part of its ongoing commitment to enhancing community health and vision care accessibility, EyeCare has conducted a special eye screening program for the participants of Care Society.
The initiative was held at the Care Society premises in support of their Annual Health Screening event. Approximately 50 participants, including children and adults with diverse special needs, benefited from the program. The primary objective of the initiative was to identify vision-related concerns at an early stage and provide professional guidance on maintaining optimal eye health.
EyeCare’s team of qualified optometrists conducted basic vision assessments and offered clinical recommendations for those requiring further specialized care. To ensure a comfortable and inclusive environment, the screening process was designed to be simple and accessible, catering to the specific needs of all participants.
Commenting on the initiative, EyeCare shared that reaching out to communities and improving access to early eye checks is a key part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The company remains committed to inclusive and accessible eye care, ensuring individuals receive timely screening, guidance, and referrals for further care where needed.
Through such initiatives, EyeCare continues to advocate for the importance of regular eye examinations and remains committed to raising public awareness regarding sustainable eye health practices across the Maldives.
