As part of our ongoing commitment to promoting eye health across the Maldives, we recently conducted a comprehensive eye screening camp in Haa Alif Atoll, covering the islands of Hoarafushi, Ihavandhoo, Dhidhdhoo, Kelaa, Baarah, and Utheem. Over 300 patients were screened during the camp, receiving vital eye care services from our experienced optometrist.
The camp provided free eye screenings, refraction, and detailed assessments for cataract, glaucoma, pterygium, and other eye conditions, ensuring that residents had access to early detection and preventive care. For many, these screenings were the first step toward improved vision and a better quality of life.
With over 22 years of dedicated service, EyeCare has been a trusted leader in eye health, bringing care closer to communities through regular screening camps and outreach programs. This recent initiative in Haa Alif Atoll is yet another testament to our mission of ensuring that even the most remote islands receive professional, high-quality eye care.
