Dr. Azzam is specialized in medical and surgical retina. He completed his MD Ophthalmology from N.A.M.S, Kathmandu, Nepal, and Fellowship in Vireo-retinal surgery (FVRS) from V.E.H, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Dr Azzam is skilled in broad range of Ophthalmic conditions and an expert in retinal diseases. He is trained in retinal lasers for condition such as Diabetic retinopathy and Retinopathy of Prematurity (R.O.P). and is familiar in cataract surgery, both SICS and Phacoemulsification. Dr Azzam has also participated in many international conferences and presented papers in many platforms, and he represents Maldives in Various international Organizations.
